The junior ceiling now reads the listing's own level. Last month we taught the matcher that asking for junior work means senior-titled roles don't match. This week's feedback closed the loophole: a role whose title carries no level marker but whose listing is tagged senior by the source now gets the same treatment. If you asked for entry-level, "Senior Level" metadata keeps it out of your digest.

Open to relocation — go where the jobs are. A new profile option for people willing to move: turn it on and on-site roles from anywhere in the US become eligible (your commute radius stops filtering them out — local roles keep only a small edge). Where pay is disclosed, matches note how far the salary actually goes in that city, using the same cost-of-living and state-tax data behind the market report's "spendable salary" view. Clearly labeled: it changes your matching to no longer prioritize local work.

"Junior" now means junior. This week's feedback pass taught the matcher that a search term like “Junior Security Engineer” declares a level, not just a field: senior-marked roles (Sr., Lead, Principal, or numbered levels like II) no longer match subscribers who explicitly asked for junior or entry-level work.

Perks can't make a match, and specialties must line up. This week's feedback pass closed two gaps: a role with no real title relevance could previously stack enough points from perks alone — remote, right level, a stray skill keyword, disclosed pay — to reach a digest. Now perks only rank genuine matches; they never create one. And a matched word wearing an unfamiliar specialty in front of it (think “Application Security” when you asked for cloud security) no longer counts as title relevance.

One-tap feedback, richer intel, cover letters. The "was this a fit?" links now record themselves the moment you land — no confirm button — and a thumbs-down offers a one-tap "what was off?" refine. Company intel adds real H1B salary disclosures, official WARN layoff filings, and Levels.fyi, with pay links pre-filled for the role. Tailoring can now draft a cover letter (same no-fabrication rules), and an "email me this kit" button saves your draft from vanishing with the tab.

A deeper sample and a smarter market report. The daily pull now reads five pages deep per search again (the sample jumped ~50% on Jul 8), and the market report gained four new reads on the data: what share of postings disclose pay, how remote pay compares with onsite, which weekdays employers actually post, and how fresh the day's listings are. Trend arrows also pause themselves with an honest note when the sample shifts, instead of showing a misleading swing.

One keyword no longer makes a match. This week's feedback pass tightened title matching again: a single overlapping word (say, “delivery” or “platform”) could previously earn enough credit to float an unrelated role into your digest. Now a role has to match the substance of what you asked for — a full phrase or most of a search term — or it's out, no matter how good the location and level look.

We read it every week and adjust the matching — this week's pass cut a class of off-target roles that were scoring too high, so fewer wrong-domain jobs slip through.
