What this is
I built this to help a few people close to me take the daily grind out of their job search. It worked well enough that others asked for access — so here it is, free. It's a personal, best-effort project — something I run as a favor, not a company and not a commitment.
Every morning it looks at fresh listings, compares them to the kind of work you're after, and sends you the close matches. That's the whole thing.
Where the jobs come from
The listings come from HiringCafe, which is the best job search engine going — ad-free and sourced straight from company career pages. I'm a fan and a user.
This tool reads their public job data and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by them. All credit for the underlying listings is theirs.
If it stops
It might. This is a small, best-effort project held together by my own imperfect code, a handful of free services I don't control, and job data from a site that's free to change how it works at any time, for any reason, with no notice — and that should never have to think about me when it does.
So if your morning email goes quiet, it could be a bug of mine, a hiccup in one of the services it runs on, or just the natural drift of the site it depends on. There's no service guarantee here and no support line. Treat it as a good thing that exists until it doesn't.
What I keep about you
As little as possible. When you sign up, your resume is read once by an AI model (Anthropic's API) to work out the roles, area, and a few search preferences to match on — then it's discarded. We don't store it unless you opt in to save it (off by default), and the AI provider doesn't train on it. Here's the complete list, nothing hidden:
Tailoring your resume (the "Tailor my resume for this" link in each email) works the same on-demand-and-discarded way: you supply your resume in that session only, an AI model reframes your real experience toward that one posting in memory, and both your resume and the draft are discarded when you close the tab. Nothing tailored is stored, logged, or added to your profile — and it never invents experience you don't have. To keep this free tool from being abused, we keep a small daily tailoring count on your row and a short-lived, hashed (non-reversible) record of request volume per network — never your raw IP, never tied to your resume.
If you opt in to “remember my résumé” (off by default — the checkbox above at signup, after any tailor, or on your profile page), we store your résumé — and, if you add them, an evidence corpus and your self-identification choices — so tailoring is one tap instead of re-pasting. These are the only things we keep beyond the short profile above, they're stored encrypted (unreadable without a key we hold separately), they're never sold or shared, and your self-ID choices are never sent to the AI or put in any export. Turn the toggle off — or unsubscribe — and they're deleted immediately.
We track whether you click the jobs we send — just the date of your last click, nothing about which one — so we can stop emailing people who've moved on. If you go quiet for about two months, we'll send one friendly check-in; click it to stay, and if we don't hear back we remove you and delete your data a week later. We never sell or share any of it, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe that deletes everything instantly.
